See the Attractive Starry Sky Twice

You can camp at Ryugatake where the Myui Observatory is located and then take in the stars twice - once in nature and once with an astronomical telescope.
Ryugatake boasts the highest elevation in Kamiamakusa (470 meters). A magnificent view different to Mt. Sengan and Mt. Takabuto extends out from the summit close to the sea. There is a campground at the summit. Therefore, you can see the stunning starry sky at night while enjoying the magnificent views in nature.
The Myui Observatory is located near the summit of Ryugatake. The word "Myui," which is difficult to pronounce and remember, originates from the Amakusa dialect. It means "look!" (This is a word in the Amakusa dialect that you can start using immediately from tomorrow.) The Myui Observatory is located in a blessed environment without light pollution. It has been selected as Japan's best starry sky in the past. Even beginners can feel free to drop by and enjoy the planets (e.g., Jupiter and Saturn), star clusters, nebula and double stars at this observatory!
After looking at the starry sky that extends out in the nature at the campsite, check out the stars from the Myui Observatory. Please then look with your naked eye at the starry sky you saw from the observatory after returning back to the campsite. In this way, you can enjoy an ultra-luxurious starry sky observation experience as many times as you like!
