ナナメ上↗︎上天草 People Praying Costumed Mascot Character

Shiro-kun, the costumed mascot character of Kamiamakusa, has traveled forward in time from 350 years ago. His real name is Kamiamakusa Shiro. He is not Amakusa Shiro in spite of the fact that he wears his chanchanko (padded sleeveless kimono jacket) with the name Amakusa Shiro on it. He is an eternal 16-year-old who sings, dances and prays.

Currently, Shiro-kun is working hard to promote Kamiamakusa every day. He wants even more people to know about the attractions of Kamiamakusa where he was born and raised. Recently, he acquired a hot spring sommelier qualification. He did this to be able to convey even more easily the charms of the hot spring area in Kamiamakusa.

This hot spring area in Kamiamakusa is mainly divided into the Oyanomachi district and the Matsushima Onsen district. Therefore, you can also enjoy visiting different hot springs. We introduce the leading hot springs of the area below. However, there are other hot springs that Shiro-kun recommends, so please try them. (Reference: https://kami-amakusa.jp/spa)
